Recent Legal Trouble:
With all me selling weed shit that was stupid, like come on man… For one I wasn’t there, I wasn’t in a session at that time. It’s my studio, yes I have my own studio but I wasn’t there, I haven’t been at my studio for about a week., you dig what I’m saying. So it’s in the area where I’m kind of like a target. I’m kind of like, what Ross said Rolls Royce you they favorite nigga, you know what I’m saying, my situation is like that. I drive through a town I’m the only , you know what I mean, young, black, fly dude moving like that. I guess it’s kind of like they don’t understand it…
DipSet Back Together:
Yeah and that’s going to be a good look. And you know I’ll still be doing what I’m doing on my own time. Just like how Jim doing what he doing on his own time and how Cam doing what he doing on his own time. That is what made us so great at the end of the day anyway, because just as much as we together as whole we just do the damn thing. Us as individuals can stand alone, so that was always the beautiful part about Diplomats. Shout out to Freaky the backbone of the set, you know what I mean. All you promoters doing flyers stop not putting Freaky on the flyers, Freaky is DipSet. He might just slap you if he see you.
Working with Dr. Dre:
It was hard, that was a beautiful experience. Dre had Jim in the booth like an hour and a half. But it was like that’s Dre and he is such a perfectionist; you know what I’m saying. He knows what he wants to hear on his beats and it’s like if you going to have anybody keep you in the booth a full hour and half why not it be Dr. Dre?
Regan Era Mixtape:
The Regan Era, the long awaited. First and foremost I would like to apologize before anything to all my fans, you know what I’m saying. It’s definitely going to be well worth the wait though, I promise you. I’m just putting on the finishing touches on it, you know what I mean. Like I said it’s been so long I felt like I really need to put out a masterpiece. The mixtape going to be like an album it’s going to be a limited amount of freestyles, a whole lot of just original music, you know what I’m saying. I’m not worried about putting it out in stores. I feel like I owe that to the people, you know what I’m saying. I owe that to everybody that has been supporting me… I got enough music… I been in the studio, I got my own studio working so it’s just locked under lock and key. I’m getting ready to release like within the next week… I’m shooting a video for every song on there.
