Shady Records is fully reloaded and ready to impact the music scene in a big way in 2013. In addition to 50 Cent's upcoming Street King Immortal album, the label will release a new CD from Yelawolf.
According to Billboard, Catfish Billy has already started recording the new project in Nashville.
Joe Budden just released his No Love Lost solo album via E1 Records. After Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9 and Crooked I drop their next solo discs, Slaughterhouse will begin work on their follow up to 2012's welcome to: Our House.
And then there's the captain of the ship, Eminem. Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg tells Billboard that Slim will deliver his highly anticipated eighth solo album sometime after Memorial Day.
"We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time," Rosenberg said. "It’s safe to say that it will be post-Memorial Day at some point, but we’re not exactly sure when. We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up."
