Police have arrested the man responsible for killing rapper Doe B, college student Kimberle Johnson, and shooting six other people at the Centennial Bar and Grill in Montgomery, Alabama on Saturday (December 28).
25-year old Jason Quan McWilliams turned himself in to police late Sunday night. A dispute between McWilliams and 22-year old Doe B, real name Glenn Thomas, is said to be the reason for the shooting.
21-year old Johnson, a student at Troy University, was an innocent victim, as were the other six people injured. Johnson was celebrating her birthday on the night McWilliams entered the establishment and started firing at Doe B.
Troy University issued a statement on Johnson's death.
"The Troy University family is saddened to learn of the death of Kimberle Johnson, a 21-year-old, junior Social Work major from Montgomery. Ms. Johnson was the victim of a shooting incident early Saturday morning in Montgomery. Anytime there is a loss of life, it is tragic. Our thoughts are with Ms. Johnson’s family and friends, as well as the other victims of this senseless tragedy."
The Centennial Bar, previously known as the Rose Supper Club, has been the location of numerous shootings and deaths over the last several years. After a man was shot in December 2012, the Super Club's liquor license was revoked and it closed it's doors. It was reopened in August under a new name.

Mayor Todd Strange
Mayor Todd Strange has decided to close the location for good. He issued the following statement.
"Effective immediately, the City of Montgomery has taken action to close the Centennial Hill Bar and Grill on Highland Avenue, which operated previously as the Rose Supper Club. We do not take this action lightly, but believe this decision is compelled by clear evidence that continued operation of this establishment poses an imminent threat to the public's safety."
McWilliams is being held without bond. He's been charged with two counts of capital murder in the deaths of Thomas and Johnson.
In an strange twist, both McWilliams and Doe B wore patches over their right eye. Thomas wore his after being shot three years. It's not known what injury McWilliams suffered.
Doe B was a Montgomery native and promising rapper. He was signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle label.
