Audio After The Jump
Ever since Common and Nas collaborated on "Ghetto Dreams" rumors have been floating around that the two would be joining forces for an album.
In an interview with West Michigan’s 1045 SNX's The Morning After Show, Common confirmed that he and Nasty Nas are indeed going to be recording an album together.
"That's true... Nas and I will definitely be doing an album," Common said. "Along with my album coming out The Dreamer, The Believer in December, Nas is coming out with an album. And after that we plan on working on our project."
Common also announced a December 20th release date for his album, The Dreamer, The Believer.
"We just wanted to get all the singles out that we wanted to get out before the album comes and give it the right preparation time," said Common, explaining why the release date of his album changed. "But we're really charged about it. It's looking really good."
Common recently left Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music family, but says that it's still all love between them.
"Really in all truth it's family. It just was a business thing where releasing this album wouldn't have been a beneficial to release it on the G.O.O.D Music label, but I'm still G.O.O.D Music family."
