The tangled web that is Johnny Manziel's life keeps spiraling in the wrong direction.
The Dallas Morning News reports that police were called to the apartment of the Cleveland Browns quarterback's ex girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, at 2 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, to investigate a possible domestic disturbance.

At approximately 2 a.m. on January 30, 2016, patrol officers were dispatched to 2101 Park Hill Drive (The Berkeley Apartments) in reference to a report of a possible assault.
Upon arrival, officers did not locate the caller, but did make contact with a 23 year old female who stated that she was involved in a disturbance with her ex-boyfriend (23 year old male suspect) earlier in the evening in Dallas. The preliminary investigation determined that a possible assault had occurred in that jurisdiction or multiple jurisdictions. The complainant was uncooperative with officers on scene, and they were unable to locate a crime scene within the Fort Worth jurisdiction, however, our officers prepared a report nonetheless, and that information was forwarded to detectives for further investigation.
The Dallas Police Department was notified of a possible disturbance, so any questions regarding their jurisdiction should be submitted to DPD.
The complainant also advised our officers of concerns that she had regarding the well-being of her ex-boyfriend. In an effort to follow-up on this, Fort Worth officers attempted to locate him, by calling cell phone numbers associated with him, checking locations within our jurisdiction, and searching the area with the assistance of our Air One Unit. It was later determined by officers that the ex-boyfriend was safe and in no danger. The Fort Worth Police Department is actively working with Dallas PD to determine if a criminal offense occurred.
This is the second time that police were called to investigate a domestic disturbance between the ex-couple.
In October, the former Heisman Trophy winner out of Texas A&M, was questioned by Avon, Ohio cops after witnesses saw him arguing on the side of a highway with Crowley and pulling her back into his car as she tried to exit the vehicle.
Crowley told police she didn't want to press charges and Manziel was allowed to leave.
Colleen and I got into a dumb public argument on the way home Monday afternoon. It probably looked more interesting than it was and...

I know I would stop and check if I saw a couple arguing on the side of the road. It was embarrassing but not serious...

and when we talked to the police and they realized everything was alright and I was sober, we went home together and everything is fine.

The quarterback has been a constant source of concern for the Browns organization since being selected with the No. 22 overall in the 2014 NFL draft.
In February 2015, he checked into rehab for alcohol addiction.
In May 2015, Manziel threw a water bottle at a fan who allegedly harassed him at a golf tournament.
In October 2015, he was involved in the 1st domestic incident with Colleen Crowley.
In November 2015, a video surfaced of Manziel partying in Austin. He lied to the team by telling them the video was old. When the truth was discovered he was demoted to third string.
Earlier this month Manziel was spotted in Las Vegas wearing a blonde wig, fake mustache and going by the name Billy. The Browns had a game the following day and although Johnny didn't have to attend because he had a concussion, the quarterback failed to show up for mandatory medical treatment that morning.
LeBron James' marketing agency recently cut ties with Manziel.
The Browns have hired Hue Jackson as their new head coach and hold the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming draft. It's highly likely they will select a quarterback and either trade Manziel (if they can find a team that wants him) or cut him.
**UPDATE** February 2
The Cleveland Browns have have had enough of Johnny Manziel's off the field troubles. According to various reports, the team will release him on March 9th, when the new NFL year starts.

"We've been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny's continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization," the Brown said in a statement. "His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time."
Manziel could also face discipline from the NFL for this latest domestic dispute.
