The 2011 Soul Train Awards, which was taped on November 17 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia aired yesterday November 27 on BET.
It was a special night that saw Earth, Wind & Fire and Gladys Knight honored for their longtime contributions to music. Late rapper Heavy D was also honored with a special performance that included Naughty by Nature, Whodini, Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Kurtis Blow and Goodie Mob.
Other winners on the night included Kelly Rowland (Song of the Year), Chris Brown (Album of the Year), Jill Scott (Best Female R&B and Soul Artist) and Beyonce (Best Dance Performance).
