Video After The Jump This isn't a music video or some motion picture b.s my G's. This kind of thing goes on every day in the streets, but it's rarely caught on tape. Kansas City career criminal Nicholas Waller decided it was do or die time on April 4, 2009. After committing two car jackings, including a pizza delivery driver, Waller abandons the last car and bails on foot. A few minutes later he's stopped by Sgt. Steven Boles. Before Boles could get a world out of his mouth, Waller starts dumping shots at him, firing five rounds, and missing every shot. Boles, who's pistol was stuck in it's holster was finally able to get it out and fire three rounds back, hitting Waller in the chest. At that very moment a patrol driven by Sgt Barry Huwar was pulling up. Seeing what was happening, Huwar ran Waller over with his patrol car, ending the shootout. Sgt. Boles believes God was on his side that day. "I thought my life was over when I started taking the gunshots and I couldn't get my gun out," Boles told Fox4KC. "I feel God put me on my knees that day and allowed me to persevere." Miraculously Waller survived being shot and run over. Already a six time felon, he apologized in court Thursday (October 7). Saying he started sniffing glue at age 12. The judge wasn't trying to hear it and sentenced him to 30 years in prison, he'll be eligible for parole in 25. twitter-5d.gif
