Bun B, The Man Lil Wayne Credits W/Teaching Him How To Rap Speaks On His Prison Release "I Hope He Left Those Demons Inside That Hell Hole"

Aside from Lil Wayne's inner circle of family and friends there are few who know him better than Bun B. The Texas rhyme spitter and 1/2 of one of the best hip hop duos of all time in UGK (r.i.p. Pimp C), wants more than anything for Weezy to stay out of trouble. In a 2008 interview with Blender Magazine, Wayne credits Bun with teaching him how to be an mc when he listed his top 5 favorite rappers. "I was never into 'Pac," Wayne told Blender. "I always listen to Bun, though. That man taught me how to rap." Bun spoke with Vibe about Weezy's homecoming. "With Wayne, of course we're all happy he's home. I'm just hoping that whatever demons were on him and following him when he went inside, I hope that he left those demons inside that hell hole," Bun said. That's real talk, I'm tired of seeing rappers get locked up period. Whether I'm a fan of their music or not, this madness needs to stop. twitter-5b.gif
