Videos After The Jump
Long before the beef between Boskoe1 and RoseMo700 spiraled out control, Twitter had become a place where groups of people could easily organize illegal activities. It may have taken a tragedy to get the media to shine a light on what had become an increasing problem.
As we previously reported, Jomo Adoula Zambia aka RoseMo700 was gunned down November 2nd in broad daylight while driving his red BMZ through an Inglewood, California neighborhood. RoseMo had gotten the attention of hip hop fans after posting a video in September claiming to have knocked out rapper The Game in a Culver City mall. Several weeks later he was seen in another video beating up a local L.A. rapper by the name of Boskoe1.
What do both of the beefs have in common? They both started over Twitter disputes.
Shortly after the last video was posted, RoseMo was murdered.
Yesterday (November 28) a new video appeared on Boskoe1's youtube channel showing the rapper being arrested after someone tipped off the police that he might be a suspect in a murder.
L.A. news station Fox11 recently ran a story describing the beef and the connection between Twitter and gang violence. In the report a couple of unidentified gangsters refer to RoseMo700 and Boskoe1 as "new age gang members."
"It's cyber banging," says one source. "What's going on in the streets used to stay in the streets. Now, Twitter is the new streets."
The unfortunate loss of a young man's life has some thinking things will get much worse.
"This is going to create a circle of violence unknown to people," the source said.
Do you think we have seen the last of these kinds of Twitter beefs? Or will it continue? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
