Beyonce is giving back to a community in need.
The Detroit Free Press reports that the singer's Parkwood Entertainment gave the United Way of Genesee County a check for $82,234 on Monday, June 13.
The money will go towards helping victims of the Flint water crisis. The funds were raised by fans who were given the option of donating to the cause when they bought a ticket to the Beyonce's "Formation Tour."
Additionally, the "Halo" hit maker is giving 14 area high school students "college gifts" to help further their educations. The students were also gifted tickets to her concert at Ford Field in Detroit tonight.
