Arsenio Hall is firing back at Sinead O'Connor for accusing him of being Prince's drug dealer.
The comedian/actor filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against the Irish singer on Thursday, May 5. He says O'Connor is a "desperate attention-seeker" who is "well known for her media antics and for seeking attention through inflammatory Facebook posts."
As we previously reported, O'Connor posted a long rant on her Facebook page Monday, May 2, claiming Hall supplied Prince with drugs for over two decades. She wrote that she had already given the information to authorities in Minnesota who are investigating the music icon's death.
She also accused Hall of drugging her years ago via a marijuana "spliff" at Eddie Murphy's home.
"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's b!tch)," O'Conner wrote. "Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave."
O'Connor found worldwide fame in 1990 when she released a remake of the Prince song "Nothing Compares 2 U."
