Adrien Broner's April 1st fight against Mayweather Promotions boxer, Ashley Theophane, and more importantly his freedom could be in jeopardy.

Broner is scheduled to defend his WBA (Super) Light Welterweight title against Theophane, but TMZ Sports reports that a warrant for his arrest has been issued in his hometown of Cincinnati.

The man who calls himself "About Billions" is accused of allegedly pulling a gun on and knocking out a man he had been placing bets with at a Cincinnati bowling on January 21, 2016.

The victim claims Broner racked up thousands of dollars in losses. When the man decided to head home with the money he had won, AB got angry.

The boxer allegedly waited for the man outside. During the confrontation, Broner punched the unidentified victim in the face.

Court documents obtained by TMZ state that after the punch Broner "then retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, approached the victim, demanded money, then struck [the victim] in the face with a closed fist a second time, this time causing the victim to be rendered unconscious. Broner was then observed taking money out of the victim's pockets while he was unconscious before fleeing the scene."

Broner has not made an official statement to the media as of yet, but he did post part of a conversation he had via text with ESPN boxing writer, Dan Rafael.

When asked by Rafael if this legal situation could jeopardize the Theophane fight, Broner clowned him by repyling, "Theeeeessseee NUTZ!!!!! Is what's going on LOL!!!!"

He has been charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
