Lil Jay Jay is an American born rapper who has risen from humble beginnings, to raunchy rapper. His break came after his collaboration with "The Swagger Kids" on there track "Stop Me" in 2010. He signed with Overload Recordz and is going to released his first studio album "I'm Just Like You."
Lil Jay Jay a little conceptual and reveals a little bit of both sides on his first studio album, I'm Just Like You, which hits Online stores this summer.
"I'm Just Like You" was a little hard for me to get into at first. When Lil Jay Jay announced that this would be a more “dance”-driven side.
Instead, Lil Jay Jay taps into his more edgy urban side on these tracks.
All in all, I’m glad that Lil Jay Jay stepped it up and stepped out his shell a little bit for the album. He definitely put something on there for everyone, from your pop ballads, to your hood anthems and dance numbers. I'm Just Like You seems like it will turn out to be my favorite Lil Jay Jay effort yet.
