Access Hollywood: I hear you didn't like JAY-Z's "4:44" album
50 Cent: I said it was good. I just thought it was too smart. Because I do think you gotta dumb down the material to fit in to what the culture's producing. Because now it's a little more melody-driven. It's not as sophisticated as it was when I first came in.
Access Hollywood: When's your album coming out?
50 Cent: It'll be the end of the year.
Access Hollywood: What is it gonna sound like?
50 Cent: It won't be as smart as the JAY-Z record. I wanna make music that people can have fun to. So you don't have to stop ... You can get it immediately without having to sit and analyze.
Access Hollywood: Are you friends with JAY-Z?
50 Cent: Yeah. I don't have a problem with him.
