MC Serch and Pete Nice, better known as 3rd Bass, were big in the rap scene in the early 80's and 90's. Search also produced Nas' Illmatic album.

 

Serch, Nice and DJ Richie Rich stopped by Sway in the Morning recently to chop it up about how they came up with their name, "Yeezus," their favorite emcee, not receiving a royalty check from The Cactus Album because of all of the samples, their break up,now wanting fans to know they were white in the beginning, "Steppin' to the AM" originally being written for Rakim and more.
