We sat down with Bigg Troye female artist from Baton Rouge Louisiana to find out why we keep hearing she one of the hardest new upcoming artist coming up from out of the south
Q - briefly let them who is Bigg Troye and how did you get started in music
BT - My name is Bigg Troye and I got started with the music at about five years old, same time I start playing ball. I just always loved music.
Q - Where are you from and how is the music scene in that area
BT - I’m from South Baton Rouge Louisiana and the music scene there raw its so much talent.
Q - how do you feel about performing at showcases and how can the be beneficial to your career
BT - Performing at showcases it’s not a bad idea you have to gain one fan at a time. I think that’s where most artist get It confused. Showcases are beneficial with my career because it helps me gain followers, fans and a lot of content from different cities. That’s how people engage with you when they see you working & moving around
Q ⁃ What’s the latest music you released and when can we hear more
BT - The latest music that I’ve dropped is an EP called The Biggest which include songs called Skurt Off, Pretending, The One, Mobby, Calling, and Nyah Rae. Following behind that release, I’ve dropped a single called “Got Dat Cash” produced by Beat Man and White Baby. Glad To say both my Ep project and single are doing great numbers, and both are out on all platforms
Q ⁃ Let’s talk about motivation, what an who would you say keeps you goin
BT - As far as motivation I can say that keeping my faith in God keeps me going, knowing that God is on my side keeps me going, my love ones that I have lost especially my grandmother keeps me going, my little niece Kyla she always keeps me going & on my toes. She my everything. I love her so much & my siblings. Everybody is waiting on me to complete the mission.
Q ⁃ What’s your overall goal
BT - My overall goal is to be the best me that I could be make the best music that I can make and take care of my family by doing what I genuinely love & that’s rapping. Y’all be on the look out for new music and Videos from me Bigg Troye The Biggest.
