Ludacris stopped by Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning" show yesterday to promote his brand new mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time.
While there, the Atlanta rapper performed an in studio version of "I'm On Fire."

Ludacris is firing shots at Big Sean and Drake in a new skit and song off of his mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time.
"History Lesson" and "Bada Boom" take aim at the rappers, in particular Big Sean for claiming he fathered the "Supa Dupa" or "hashtag flow"
“With the super duper flow, I created that one word rhyme style,” Big Sean told MTV back in March 2011. “Drake really made it more popular, but Drake gave me the credit and was like I really got that from Big Sean. I think some artists just did it so wack man. Every time I say names I get in trouble and it’s like I’m dissing, but some people used it wack. If he said Ludacris used it wack, hey. Don’t get it wrong I’m not trying to dis Ludacris or nothing,” he explained. “He’s a great MC. But even though that that style that got so overused, there was a lot of people who did it great and there was a lot of people who didn’t do it so great. People always ask me was you mad that people took that style from you. I’m like, ‘Nah, that went and shows me how far I can go as an artist.’ I feel like I changed hip-hop. I haven’t even dropped an album yet. So that goes to show me how powerful my mind is.”
Drake also addressed that particular flow in an interview with AllHipHop back in June 2010.
"I don’t want to offend somebody…I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] “It’s a parade! MACY’S!”
That was a direct shot at Luducris, who said that line on the song "My Chick Bad"
“Couple girlfriends and they a lil' crazy/Coming down the street like a parade, Macys,”
Whether they meant to offend or not, it seems they did. Although Ludacris doesn't mention them by name, in this new world of subliminal rap disses, this one is pretty clear cut.
“I’m the truth in this booth and you n*ggas all hoes,” Luda raps on “Bada Boom.” “Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealing their flows, but I can’t steal what you never made up b*tch/ Y’all some duplicate rap cloning n*ggas/I manufacture you hoes put on your makeup b*tch. Let me explain, aint been nothing new since Big Daddy Kane/Flows will get recycled, passed around to different names”
He later went in further.
“May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain’t invent it, boy/Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that’s disrespecting pioneers in the game.”

Odd Future's Tyler, The Creator is set to release his third solo album titled Wolf in May 2012. He says fans can expect to hear a new sound from him.
"Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn't interest me anymore," he told Spin. "What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I'll brag a little bit more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I'll be a smart-ass about it."
Tyler's seen his popularity soar over the past couple of years. Along with success and fame, he's also seen his bank account swell. The rapper recently bought his mom a new house and says he just can't relate to the guy who made his first two albums, Bastard and Goblin anymore.
"Now it's just girls throwing themselves at me and sh*t, but I got a girl back home," he says. "People who want the first album again, I can't do that. I was 18, broke as f*ck. On my third album, I have money and I'm hanging out with my idols. I can't rap about the same sh*t."

Rap's punch line king is not done making mixtapes just yet.
Lloyd Banks announced recently that the just released Cold Corner 2 project would be his last body of free work. Some people took that to mean he would no longer be releasing mixtapes, but Blue Hefner surprised his Twitter followers yesterday when he announced that he has started working on V6.
"Back to work..new sh*t on the way! working on V6!," Banks wrote. "Thought about it...i can't stop..streetz need dat dope."
V5 was an incredible body of work. Expect the same of it's follow up.

Rostrum Records now officially has two stars on it's roster.
Wiz Khalifa has been the face of the indie label, as well as the hip hop scene in Pittsburgh, but that has all changed now that Mac Miller has a No. 1 selling album under his belt.
The 19-year old's debut album Blue Slide Park sold 148,915 copies to become the first indie release since Tha Dogg Pound's 1995 album Dogg Food, to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Congrats to Mac for making history.

In the clip, MGK's new girlfriend brings him home to meet the family, along with Waka. After a few condescending remarks by pops he end up with a beer bottle smashed over his head, before the duo get back to partying.
Comedian Katt Williams makes a cameo appearance.
Two weeks ago the internet was buzzing with rumors that Chris Brown had knocked Drake out with an elbow during a dispute over Rihanna at some point in the past.
The rumor got started by DJ Whoo Kid, who told Radio 1Xtra's Tim Westwood that the incident happened, but was swept under the rug by the parties involved.
"I think [Drake] got elbowed too by Chris Brown, but that never came out," Whoo Kid said at the time. "In the chin, like the corner left part. Man down, simple as that."
Drake is disputing Whoo Kid's claims. In a new interview with The Daily Beast, Drizzy tries to set the record straight.
“I respect Chris Brown. I’d like to call myself a friend. I don’t know if I’m allowed to do that,” said Drake. “But I definitely didn’t get elbowed in my face. Somebody would’ve got knocked the f*ck out.”

As we previously reported, legendary producer/rapper Erick Sermon suffered a heart attack last week. Luckily, he got to the hospital in time to be treated before his condition worsened.
Sermon called into Sway's Shade 45 show earlier today to describe what happened leading up to the heart attack.
"I was downstairs on Wednesday night (November 9) making this record. I was kind of excited because I hadn't made any beats in a while. So, I was kind of happy about that," Sermon said. "I went upstairs and sat on the sofa and I got two sharp pains in my left hand side. And I said, 'maybe I'm sitting wrong.' and I positioned myself differently on the sofa. Then i sat there watching tv and started getting heart palpitations like if you're working out, but I wasn't doing nothing. I stayed there until about 3 or 4 in the morning until I fell asleep. Then around 12 o'clock that afternoon I got the same pain in my left hand side. So, I said 'you know what? let me go to the emergency room.' I was planning to just come back home. When I got there, as soon as I hit the door, my whole left side cramped up on me and the heart palpitations started going really fast again and I started to get the pains again."
Sermon goes on to describe how when they took his blood pressure it was 200 over 190.
"If I didn't get there in time, I would've suffered a stroke first, then I really would've been in trouble," he said. "So when I got to the emergency room, they did all these tests and said that the heart attack was a mild one."
Sermon stressed that the wrong foods as well as drinking and smoking can really have a negative affect on your heart.
"The food that you eat, or if you're smoking and drinking that (your heart) gets affected quick," the 42-year old added.
