Roc Nation management has landed a huge international superstar in singer Shakira reports XXL. The Colombian beauty leaves Epic management to join Mark Ronson, Melanie Fiona, Rihanna, Santigold, The Ting Tings, Wale, Andrea Martin, Ester Dean, Lab Ox, NO ID, Samantha Ronson and Solange Knowles as artists managed by the house that Jay-Z built according to Roc Nation's official website.
Roc Nation is also the recording home of artists such as Willow Smith, Jay-Z, Bridget Kelly, Hugo, J. Cole, Jay Electronica, K. Koke and Rita Ora.
Shakira is the highest selling Colombian artist of all time having sold more than 60 million records worldwide. She has also won 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards.
Her videos on youtube have surpassed one billion views, with "Waka Waka" closing in on 450 million views alone.

Nicki Minaj has made it perfectly clear that she is going in more of a pop direction with her career with some of her recent releases. It doesn't seem to be hurting her fanbase, which continues to grow. Fans of her pre-Young Money work probably haven't been thrilled, but the Harajuku Barbie most likely isn't targeting them anyway.
On Valentine's Day, Nicki released her latest single "Starships." The RedOne produced song is intended to be a crossover hit for her upcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
“There was so much love surrounding the making of the song, because RedOne is just so sweet to work with,"she told Ryan Seacrest when the song premiered. "He just sent me that one day and he said, ‘Hey, I got something for you!’ I was like ‘You got to be kidding me, right?’ I went to the studio and started writing…scratch that…I didn’t even write the first verse! That was just me mumbling and just saying the first thing that came to my head, and we recorded it, because I just felt…like let’s go to the beach…let’s go get away…It was just so good. It feels good!”
Not everyone is feeling good about the song though. New York's outspoken on air personality Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 thinks the Young Money starlet went too pop and he let his listeners know.
"I'm not saying Nicki's not a rapper or she can't rap, because the opposite is true," he said. "By nature she is an incredibly talented rapper. But I am a hip-hop head and to be frank this song right here 'Starships' is literally one of the most sellout songs in hip-hop history."

Video After The Jump
Before all the glitz and the glamour Nicki Minaj was a real hard spitter from Queens, New York known for appearances on the Come Up DVD series.
This video is a nice surprise and a reminder of how much she's changed over the years. When she repeats the phrase "Dirty Money" she's not talking about Diddy's group. She's referring to the name Come Up DVD CEO Big Fendi owns.

David Haye punches Dereck Chisora with glass bottle in his hand
Videos and Pics After The Jump
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko defeated challenger Dereck Chisora by unanimous decision in Munich, Germany Saturday (February 18), but it was the events that took place at the post fight press conference that has the boxing world buzzing.
Chisora got into a brawl with David Haye, who retired from boxing after losing to Wladimir Klitschko last year.
The entire brawl was caught on tape as well as the dialogue between the two. Check it out below.
Bernd Boente, manager of Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko: With the bad experience we've had with British fighters, we will now look for other countries. Contrary to David Haye, Dereck Chisora really went for it. He really tried.
David Haye (from rear of the room): You don't want to fight David Haye, no?
Boente: You had an offer. You didn't accept it. Now you are out. You are out. Out, out, out. You cannot talk yourself back into the fight; you have no belts. Chisora showed heart, contrary to you. You showed your toe [referring to Haye's toe injury].
Haye: I accepted your offer in December.
Dereck Chisora: We'll get it on in London – be quiet. David Haye is an embarrassment, Sky Sports don't do Box Office any more because of David Haye. He messed it up for all those young fighters coming through. I'm going to give you two slaps for that. If Haye is a fighter, he should fight me.
Haye: You've lost three fights in a row (actually three of his last four).
Chisora: Let's fight.
Chisora's promoter Frank Warren: I've got a great idea. If Dereck fights David, the winner fights Vitali.
Boente: Sounds like the perfect plan.
Haye: Vitali said he could knock me out, do you think you can knock me out?
Chisora'strainer Don Charles: Be quiet, can security get him out of here?
Haye: Vitali said after his last fight, 'I want to fight David Haye'. Where is he now? He said he wanted to fight me, I agreed the money, I agreed everything in December.
Chisora: How's your toe? How's your toe? How's your toe?
Haye: You've lost your last three fights, you lost to Tyson Fury. You're a loser.
Chisora: Tell that to my face. I'm coming down, tell that to my face.
[Chisora leaves podium and heads into the audience to confront Haye and the two start fighing]
Chisora: (Shouting and indicating towards Haye). He glassed me. I swear to God, David, I am going to shoot you. I am going to shoot you. I am going to physically shoot David Haye. He glassed me. He glassed me. He glassed me. I'm not having it. He glassed me.
Chisora: (Referring to Booth's cut) I'm sorry about that. Adam [Haye's trainer], your fighter glassed me.
Booth: I want to know who glassed me [bleeding from the head]
Chisora: As you were trying to hold your fighter away, he [Haye] probably glassed you by mistake.
Booth: You hit me with a bottle.
Chisora: David had a bottle in his hand.
Booth: No, no, David didn't hit me with a bottle. I want to know who glassed me. Someone hit me with a bottle.
Booth: Vitali, you are a great fighter but your manager is an embarrassment to the sport. Congratulations for winning.
Chisora: (Addressing Booth) Either we do it in the ring or outside of the ring. Because I want him. If David don't fight me, Adam, I am telling you the God's honest truth, I am going to physically burn him. So you tell him I said that. I am going to find him.

If DMX wants to move forward with plans to tour Europe he first will have to clear up the matter of a $1 million dollar child support debt.
TMZ is reporting the rapper is being prevented from leaving the country by a law prohibiting a parent owing a substantial amount of child support from obtaining a passport.
One of Dark Man's ex's, Patricia Trejo, told L.A. Superior Court last week that X owes ten years worth of child support for their daughter and she wants him to start paying up now.
X says he isn't sure if the child is his and wants a DNA test before he makes payments causing the stalemate.
On what had to be an incredibly stressful day for both the Brown and Houston families singer Bobby Brown left the funeral of his ex wife Whitney Houston before the service had barely gotten underway.
TMZ is reporting that Brown had been approved by Houston's family to attend the funeral with two other people, but showed up with nine instead. He also wanted to sit with his and Whitney's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, but wasn't allowed to.
Brown issued a statement afterwards through his publicist.
My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.
After the funeral Rev. Al Sharpton was asked if Brown had been a distraction by a member of the press.
"Bishop Jakes and I spoke with him. He showed nothing but love and respect for Whitney," Sharpton said. "I wish people would leave Bobby alone."
