A man shot at the official BET Awards after party in 2011 is suing the cable network and it's parent company Viacom.
In a new lawsuit filed by Antwon Black, he alleges that while attending the party at the Compound Nightclub in 2011, he was shot in the leg.
Black says a patron got past the security check with a gun and shot him in the leg. Black is suing the owner of Compound, Viacom and BET for failing to keep the club safe.
Viacom has not commented on the lawsuit. No word on how much money Black is seeking.

Beyonce lands on the cover of Out magazine's annual Power issue. Mrs. Carter speaks about how men and women are viewed differently by society.
"There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persists. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy," Beyonce told the gay and lifestyle publication. "You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist - whatever you want to be - and still be a sexual being,”
The issue hits newsstands later this month.

International TV buyers who attended the premiere of 50 Cent's new Starz! television series Power at MIPTV in Cannes, France, were treated to an added bonus. The G-Unit Records mogul unveiled the music video for "Big Rich Town," which is the theme song for Power and the next song/visual to be released off of 50's forthcoming Animal Ambition album.
Thisis50.com and 50 Cent's Facebook page will exclusively give American audiences their first look at the music video Monday evening, April 7, at midnight. The mp3 will be made available on iTunes at the same time.
Power
On June 7, season one of Power begins. Executive produced by 50, David Knoller, Courtney Kemp Agboh and Randall Emmet, Power stars Omari Hardwick as a New York City nightclub owner who also has his hand in the drug world.
The song "Big Rich Town" is written from the perspective of Hardwick's character, James “Ghost” St. Patrick.
50 Cent raps about coming from the poorest part of New York City but rising to the top through dealing drugs. The video shows several scenes from the series' first episode.
Animal Ambition arrives in stores on June 3.

The 25-year old daughter of musician and philanthropist Bob Geldof has been found dead at at 25. Peaches Gelgof's body was discovered in her Kent, England home on Monday, April 7, after police were sent to check on her welfare when she was not able to be reached.
The death has been ruled "unexplained and sudden," according to TMZ

Peaches was a model, journalist and television host.
"We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," Bob said in a statement.
Bob gained fame in the 1970's as the lead singer of the Irish rock back the Boomtown Rats. He went on to co-own a TV production company and has written several books, including his autobiography, Is That It?
He also helped to organize the 1985 Live Aid concerts.

Peaches' mother, Paula Yates, died of a drug overdose in 2000. Peaches leaves behind a husband, Thomas Cohen, and two sons.

Justin Timberlake has added another leg to his 20/20 Experience World Tour, it was announced today by Live Nation. The singer will take a couple of months off after his August 11th concert in San Jose, before kicking off 14 new North American shows.
The first stop will be in Portland on November 20. Additional shows will include Las Vegas, Houston, Toronto and Brooklyn before winding down in Atlanta on December 20.
The pre-sale for members of JT's fan club The Tennessee Kids begins on April 8. A MasterCard pre-sale will begin on April 9.
