HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (Fox26) - A Houston area man has been arrested and charged for putting his genitals in restaurant food & possessing child pornography.
Othello Larenzo Holmes faces 5 counts of possession of child pornography with court records saying he had between 100 to 499 images showing children younger than ten.
On April 5, authorities arrived at the restaurant Kulture & saw surveillance video from the manager showing Holmes allegedly placing his genitals on open food items. When interviewed by investigators, he stated he "has these urges frequently and has a history of sexual offenses" & he "needs help."
According to court documents, Holmes had his device analyzed by officials & on it were more than 100 videos & images of children between the ages of infancy to teens engaged in sexual acts.
There were 5 videos found on Holmes's device depicting children believed to be under 10 years old, with one child appearing to be under 1, also performing sexual acts, court documents stated. Adult men's hands can be seen in the videos with one man in a video being heard saying, "Look at that."
Holmes is expected to appear in court on June 6, 2024. His bond has been set for $500,000 for all 5 charges.

A high school athletic director in Maryland has been accused of using artificial intelligence to impersonate a principal on an audio recording that included racist & antisemitic comments.
Authorities said the case appears to be among the first of its kind in the country & called for new laws to guard against the technology. Experts also warned that artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly powerful, while the ability to detect it may lag behind without more resources.
Dazhon Darien faked the voice of Pikesville High School’s principal in response to conversations the men had about Darien’s poor work performance & whether his contract would be renewed, Baltimore County police said.
Concerns included allegations that Darien paid his roommate $1,900 in school funds under the false pretense of coaching the girls soccer team.
Darien forged an audio clip in which it sounded as if the principal was frustrated with Black students & their test-taking abilities, police wrote in charging documents. They said the recording also purported to capture the principal disparaging Jewish individuals & 2 teachers.
The recording triggered a wave of hate-filled messages on social media & an inundation of phone calls to the school. Activities were disrupted for a time, and some staff felt unsafe.
Darien, 31, faces charges that include theft, disrupting school activities, stalking & retaliating against a witness.
Scott Shellenberger, the Baltimore County state’s attorney, said the case appears to be one of the first of its kind nationwide involving artificial intelligence that his office was able to find. He said Maryland’s Legislature may need to update state laws to catch up with the nefarious possibilities of the new technology.

THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. (K5 News) — A Lacey man was sentenced to 13 years in prison and three years in community custody on Monday after pleading guilty to a second-degree attempted murder charge in early March.
Chae Kyong An attempted to bury his wife alive after the two got into an argument at the woman's home in October of 2022. The couple was going through a separation at the time.
The victim read a statement in court recalling the attack, and detailing the lasting physical and emotional scars left by her husband.
She said she saw An at her home when she arrived home from church that day, prompting her to send her children to get ice cream because she didn't want them to see their parents fighting. After the kids left, she and An got into an argument, which is when the attack began. She was able to contact 911 through her Apple Watch before An took the device away from her and smashed it.
The victim said An tied her arms, legs, eyes and mouth, and that he then loaded her into a van and drove her into the woods. An put the victim into a shallow grave then threw dirt over her. She laid in the hole for 12 hours before she was able to get up and escape.
The victim said she begged for An to stop and asked him to think of their children, but he refused.
'"I don't need anything. Today, I'm going to kill you,"' she recalled An saying.
