The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed early Tuesday morning after it was struck by a 984-foot cargo ship.
Here's what we know:
* What happened? Video shows the moment the entire bridge structure falls into the water, as the ship hits one of the bridges pillars. CNN analysis shows that the ships lights flickered and it veered off course before it hit the bridge.
*How many people are missing? Baltimore's Fire Chief James Wallace said at least two people have been rescued, but they are searching for upwards of at least seven others. The Maryland Transportation Secretary also confirmed there were contractors working on the bridge at the time of its collapse. Officials noted that the number of missing people could change.
* How have authorities responded? Wallace said authorities are carrying out a search and rescue operation using sonar and infrared technologies as well as drones. He said they have identified vehicles submerged in the water. Maryland Gov. Wes Moore declared a state of emergency following the collapse of the bridge. The Baltimore branch of the FBI is also at the scene, however the Baltimore police chief said there was no indication of terrorism as a motivating factor.
* What was on board the ship? The ship was chartered by Danish shipping company Maersk and was carrying their customers' cargo, the Danish shipping company told CNN. The company said no Maersk crew or personnel were onboard the vessel. It said the ship, DALI, is operated by charter vessel company Synergy Group.

Philadelphia emcee Quilly turns the heat up in his verbal beef with Meek Mill and throws Diddy in the fire as well on his new freestyle over Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar's "Like That" instrumental.
Diddy's homes were raided in the U.S. to kick off the week -- but the guy's own private jet is miles away in a completely different nation ... although it's unclear if he's aboard himself.
TMZ has tracked Diddy's personal LoveAir LLC jet -- the well-known black Gulfstream 5 that Diddy has flaunted & flown for years now -- and it looks like the aircraft is currently on the ground in Antigua ... which is down in the Caribbean.
Based on the flight activity, viewed by TMZ, Diddy's jet has been up & down California between Sunday and Monday -- taking off from Sacramento Executive Airport Sunday evening around 5:30 PM PT & landing at Palm Springs Int'l Airport about an hour later.
An hour after that, around 7:30 PM PT, Diddy's jet took off from Palm Springs yet again and landed at Van Nuys Airport, which is in the L.A. area, about 30 minutes later around 8:00 PM PT. Around 9 AM PT Monday, the jet took off from Van Nuys airport and landed at some point in Antigua.
The plane is currently grounded there, although the flight data has yet to update and register him as having officially landed. In any case, it's definitely Diddy's jet ... no question.
2 of Diddy's homes, in L.A. and MIami, were swarmed by federal law enforcement agencies Monday -- and armed officials stormed the properties, taking some people into custody ... including his sons Justin and King. Unclear if any arrests took place.
The raids are believed to have stemmed from accusations hurled at Diddy in multiple lawsuits -- which have touched on alleged human & sex trafficking, among other claims ... all of which he's vehemently denied.

Vice President Kamala Harris was captured on camera clapping to a Puerto Rican protest song during her visit to San Juan on Friday, stopping short once an aide translated what singers added to the lyrics.
After making remarks in Puerto Rico's capital, Harris visited the Goyoco community center in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan where she took a tour and heard from center staff and community leaders.
The motorcade was greeted by a mix of several dozen, loud demonstrators and onlookers on the sidewalk. One held a sign that said "Kamala Harris war criminal," another called the USA and Israel "genocidal."
The vice president stopped in a courtyard within the community center where a six-person group of musicians played. Pool cameras captured Harris clapping her hands and nodding along as she watched and listened. A singer then performed accompanied by a piano. According to RNC Research, Harris was clapping until an aide next to her translated what the band was saying.
The woman standing next to Harris is Mariana Reyes, executive director at La Goyco, while the man is Frankie Miranda, Hispanic Federation president, according to The Associated Press.
"We want to know, Kamala, what did you come here for?... Long live Free Palestine and Haiti too!" the band said, according to the account managed by the Republican National Committee.
Harris then stopped clapping and instead folded her hands and slightly nodded as the song continued.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for an attack at a popular concert venue complex near Moscow Friday that left at least 40 dead & more than 100 wounded after assailants stormed the venue with guns & incendiary devices.
Video footage from the site of the attack, the Crocus City Hall concert venue, shows the vast complex, which is home to both the music hall & a shopping center, on fire with smoke billowing into the air. State-run RIA Novosti reported the armed individuals “opened fire with automatic weapons” and “threw a grenade or an incendiary bomb, which started a fire.” They then “allegedly fled in a white Renault car,” the news agency said.
The attack unfolded before the music group Picnic was set to perform. The band’s manager told state media that the performers were unharmed.
Video footage showed panic as the attack unfolded, with crowds of people huddling together, screaming & ducking behind cushioned seats as gunshots started echoing in the vast hall.
Footage geolocated by CNN shows an armed individual starting at least one fire inside the venue. The individual is seen carrying something in their hand and, as they walk off-screen, a bright flash of light from a large flame is seen in the video.
Regional governor Andrey Vorobyov said everything was being done to save people in what is now the deadliest terror attack on Moscow in decades. A SWAT team was called to the area and more than 70 ambulance teams and doctors were assisting victims.
One hundred and fifteen people have been hospitalized, including five children, the Russian Health Ministry told TASS. Sixty people are in a “serious condition.”

CLEVELAND (AP) — An Ohio mother whose 16-month-old daughter died after being left home alone in a playpen for 10 days last summer while she went on vacation was sentenced Monday to life in prison with no chance of parole.
Kristel Candelario, 32, had pleaded guilty last month to aggravated murder and child endangerment as part of a plea deal with Cuyahoga County prosecutors, who dismissed two murder counts and a felonious assault charge.
Authorities have said Candelario left her daughter, Jailyn, in their Cleveland home when she went on vacation to Detroit and Puerto Rico in June 2023. When she returned 10 days later, she found the girl was not breathing in the playpen and called 911. Emergency responders found the child was “extremely dehydrated” and pronounced her dead shortly after they arrived.
An autopsy by the Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office determined that the toddler died of starvation and severe dehydration.
County Common Pleas Court Judge Brendan Sheehan told Candelario she committed “the ultimate betrayal” by leaving her daughter alone without food.
“Just as you didn’t let Jailyn out of her confinement, so too you should spend the rest of your life in a cell without freedom,” Sheehan said. “The only difference will be, the prison will at least feed you and give you liquid that you denied her.”
Candelario, who has struggled with depression and related mental health issues, said she has prayed daily for forgiveness.
“There’s so much pain that I have in regards to the loss of my baby, Jailyn,” she said. “I’m extremely hurt about everything that happened. I am not trying to justify my actions, but nobody knew how much I was suffering and what I was going through ... God and my daughter have forgiven me.”
BOISE, Idaho (Fox10) - Skylar Meade, an Idaho prisoner & white supremacist who escaped custody at a Boise hospital after an accomplice shot & wounded corrections officers, is still at large, along with the man who helped him flee.
Nicholas Umphenour is the accomplice suspected of shooting 2 corrections officers in an ambush Wednesday in the ambulance bay at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Umphenour is now wanted on 2 charges of aggravated battery against law enforcement & 1 charge of aiding & abetting an escape.
Meade & Umphenour took off in a gray 2020 Honda Civic with license plate 2TDF43U.

Meade has prior convictions including felony possession of a controlled substance, grand theft, and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
He has been behind bars since October 2016 and was set to be released in October 2036. Idaho corrections officers ambushed, shot at hospital.
Authorities said Meade was taken to the hospital at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday after he engaged in "self-injurious behavior" & medical staff determined he needed emergency care.
The attack against officers happened at 2:15 a.m. as Idaho Department of Correction officers prepared to bring Meade back to prison.
