Memphis rapper and Paper Route Empire CEO, Young Dolph, escaped injury following an attempt on his life in Charlotte on Saturday. February 25, following his performance at Cameo Nightclub during the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) basketball tournament weekend.

According to WSOCTV, Dolph, born Adolph Thornton, Jr, was in his bulletproof SUV near the intersection of North Caldwell and 8th Street around 6:30 p.m., when gunmen approached and opened fire.

Aside from Dolph's vehicle, surrounding businesses and cars were also hit by the more than 100 bullets that were fired.
Miraculously, there were no injuries reported. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating.
