Vain is finally dropping his much anticipated video for his
Hit Single "Hello" which reached #87 on the Mediabase Charts. It was in the Top 100 tracks, giving the Major Labels a run for their money!
VAIN was a protege of the late great Big Kap aka "The Wardin."
This February was the 1 year Anniversary of his death. Big Kap is
credited with helping to launch Biggie Smalls career and is best known for his critically acclaimed Mixtape "The Tunnel ," with Funkmaster
Flex. Big Kap was memorialized with a Tribute at the Grammy Awards in 2016.
Big Kap introduced VAIN and his song "Hello," on his final tour,
"The Burn Unit Legends." Tour. He also performed "Ain't No Nigga Like
Me," live with Vain during the Tour and a tribute clip of that rare and
final video appearance is featured in that video which is also featured
on this site.
VAIN and Big Kap callaborated on the single "Bottles In the Air" which
features a rare vocal performance from "The Wardin" himself. VAIN's
single "Throw It Back," was featured on Big Kap's final Mixtape
"State2State."
VAIN performed "Hello" when he opened up for the one and only Snoop Dogg at the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz, California and at DJ Demp's
Birthday Bash in Tallahassee, Florida where Yo Gotti was also on the Club Moon Marquee.
Some of Vain's other notable Musical Milestones include his
Freestyle Series "Monster Bars," most notably the 3rd Edition which
features Tony Yayo, "Show Off," Video featuring Jim Jones, "All
Ghetto," Video featuring Red Cafe, " I Love It," Video featuring
Legendary female DJ Jazzy Joyce who also produced the track, " Make Up 2
Break Up," Video featuring Lil Mo and "All The Good Girls," track
featuring Slim of 112.
