U-God believes he's been shorted money owed to him by Wu Tang Clan co-founders RZA and his brother Mitchell Diggs. He's filed a lawsuit, citing several alleged breaches of contract.
TMZ reports that U-God, born Lamont Hawkins, has a laundry list of alleged financial grievances against the brothers.
In his lawsuit the rapper claims:
1. He has not received a dime of the $2 million received from the 2015 sale the album, "Once Upon a Time in Shaolin," to Martin Shkreli.
2. His Wu Tang contract calls for him to receive 2 annual payments for group merchandise being sold. That deal is not being honored.
3. Royalty payments for his contributions to 12 Wu Tang Clan albums stopped coming 6 years ago.
U-God wants a complete accounting of all Wu Tang revenue streams. He is seeking $2.5 million.
