Videos After The Jump

Turk has seen the highest of the highs as a member of the Hot Boys when they were at their peak and dealt with low points when he was incarcerated for nine years.

Since he walked out of the gates of Arkansas' Forrest City Prison in October 2012, he hasn't looked back. Turk got back on his feet by starting his own record label, YNT Empire, signing several artists including his wife Emani Da Made Woman and releasing quality music.

Mikey T The Movie Star recently caught up with the New Orleans native to talk about why he didn't sign with Cash Money when he got home, Rap-A-Lot Records CEO, J. Prince helping him when he was locked up and offering him a partnership deal he couldn't pass up, wanting to see B.G. come home soon, overcoming a drug addiction earlier in life, putting artist development first at his label and more.
