Video After The Jump
On December 25, 2016, an unknown assailant opened fire on Troy Ave in Brooklyn, New York, as he sat in the driver's seat of his red Maserati that was stopped at a red light.
The BSB Records CEO, was hit in the shoulder as well as grazed in the head. He was hospitalized for several days before being released with a bullet still lodged in his shoulder and a fragment in his head.
It was the second attempt on Troy's life in 2016. In May he survived after being shot in the leg in an attack backstage at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in New York City.
On Friday, February 17, 2017, Troy released footage via his Instagram page showing the damage his Maserati sustained during the Christmas Day shooting.
In addition to the bullet holes and shattered glass, there are also blood stains visible inside the vehicle.
"Bullet holes in the [Maserati]. They shot the sunroof ... they shot the drop," Troy says to someone off camera, before giving thanks to God for his survival. "God is great."
Police have made no arrests in connection with the shooting.
