The 2 siblings known in the music scene as The Keymakers, have just released one of the most simplest, yet most creative and fulfilling videos of the year. We have seen producers at work and artists in the studio creating, but "Insomniac" will keep you up all night with it on replay.
Where to start with this masterpiece?? Well first off, "Insomniac" is an amazing song. Well written. And creatively original. But that is just the start of the ride on "Insomniac." The single has an outstanding arrangement. With change ups and drops,.even a jazzy saxophone sliding in every now and then. But....when you watch "Insomniac" prepare to be amazed.
The Keymakers play the single live from start to finish. Including the saxophone. The drops are perfectly placed and carried out as these two move past each other with grace and timing like ninjas in the studio. Tapping in sound and effect changes while giving each other the perfect time to prep them self for the next place they need to be positioned This is legendary skill at its finest easily comparable to famous stage actors and actresses, or even a movie director doing a continuous shot scene with many actors/actresses and action taking place. The creative ability and natural instinct for sound and placement to make a perfect rhythm is the stuff stars are made of.
