The city of New Orleans is celebrating their Saints going to the Super Bowl for the first time in their 43-year history. Garrett Hartley's 40-yard field goal in overtime lifted the Saints to a 31-28 victory over Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship. The Saints will face the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl Feb. 7 in Miami. The Colts are in the Super Bowl for the second time in four years. The Colts rode three Peyton Manning touchdown passes to rally from an 11-point deficit and beat the upset-minded New York Jets 30-17 in the AFC title game. Indianapolis is an early favorite in the game, according to oddsmakers. Source: BayNews9 Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper
