In 2010 the UFC's undisputed king of trash talking, Chael Sonnen somehow managed to get a title shot against then middleweight champion Anderson Silva.
Leading up to the fight Sonnen said everything he could to insult Silva. The two fought on August 7, 2010. To everyone's surprise Sonnen dominated the bout and was on his way to victory when Silva secured a triangle armbar and submitted Sonnen with less then 2 minutes remaining in the fight.
The two would fight again on July 7, 2012. This time Silva dominated and won by 2nd round TKO. In the premiere of Life+Times new series called STATIC, they take a look back at the rivalry. Hosted by Roy Jones Jr.
