With his unique multi-faceted style Rseenal is the future voice of the dancehall and the emerging Jamaican Hip-Hop genre. Growing up in the
politically charged Kingston, Jamaica Rseenal developed a love for
poetry which he used to express his experiences of growing up in such
harsh surroundings. Since then he has fine tuned his skill with words to
the point of excellence.
Rseenal has completed his two projects both scheduled for release in 2010. His debut Hip-Hop Mixtape: Chedda Cheeze & Blind Mice$ and
The Hoztyle CrossOva Mixtape a heavily hip-hop influenced rhythm driven
project.
Rseenal has a vast resume consisting of various live performances on some of Jamaica premier dancehall shows such as Fullyloaded,
Spectrum, Pepsi Teen Splash & Portland Curry Festival .
Rseenal musical career climbed to new heights in 2008 when he earned the title of Reigning Champion on RE TVs Face-Off Battle of the
Lyricist and also in the said year became winner of the Heinekens Top
Star Competition.
Rseenal musical career started with humble beginnings. His first professional step into the music industry was live dub poetry
performances with Dub Traffickers. He then moved on to Multi-Cast
Entertainment, with whom he did his first recording as a deejay. Within
his time at Multi-Cast Entertainment, the company did a collaborative
effort with Mansion Muzik this would be Rseenals first official release.
From here he moved on to work with R.E.A.L. ITY Inc where he released
the song and video, So or So produced by illicit productions. He then
teamed up with Gambling House Recording Studio where they released his
latest Music video Whine Up on .
Rseenal musical influences range from the Notorious Big and Tupac to Peter Tosh and Sizzla Kalonji who remains his single greatest
musical influence.
In the words of Rseenal: Differently still we are not here to change anything, no new image or anything like that, we are here to continue
the works of the legends before us... We are here to be legends of our
