Cordell Broadus, the 16-year old son of rapper Snoop Dogg has been suspended after throwing a punch during a football game between his school Diamond Bar High vs Diamond Ranch on October 18th.
The incident started out as a shoving match between both teams when Cordell comes in from the sideline and throws a punch at an opposing player, which started a bench clearing brawl. The game was halted with three minutes remaining.
The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has suspended several players from both teams including Snoop's son, according to TMZ.
Broadus, who stands 6'3" and weighs 186 pounds, is a highly recruited wide receiver. He's drawn interest from a laundry list of top rated college programs including Texas A&M, USC, UCLA, LSU, Notre Dame, Tennessee and others.
The suspension could cause some schools to back off
