The show that helped launch the careers of Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey is returning to tv.
Deadline is reporting that Fox has ordered two half hour specials of it's ground breaking sketch comedy show, In Living Color, as part of the network's 25th anniversary. An option for the series to air full time again is in place if the half hour specials are a ratings success.
Keenen Ivory Wayans, will once again serve as the show's host and executive producer, but there will be an all new cast of characters to replace Carrey, Foxx, David Alan Grier and the rest of the original crew.
The half hour specials are scheduled to air mid-season 2012.
