Rihanna could be on her way to the big screen if reports about a forthcoming remake of 'The Last Dragon' are true.
"She has landed an incredibly challenging role alongside Samuel L Jackson. But it's not a part for the faint-hearted," a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror Monday. "She will play a super sexy, super kinky dominatrix in the martial arts flick."
Said to be co-produced by Rza of Wu-Tang Clan, 'The Last Dragon' remake follows rumors that Rihanna would star in a remake of the 1992 hit 'The Bodyguard' -- those claims were later shot down by management.
While Rihanna has not confirmed the role, the source says she will be asked to study hard.
"She has been told to look into the role - and this could well include a trip to an S&M dungeon."
In related news, Rihanna discussed an intense emotional connection to the album "Rated R" recently.
Telling The Daily Telegraph the album was a place where she could vent after the attack (Chris Brown), Rihanna went on to say "The vocal performances definitely were influenced by the emotion, the feeling. I wasn't just singing lines, I was singing every word and every word meant something because it was my story. It was a lot more personal, a lot more real...I was venting."
