Video After The Jump
Rich Homie Quan is feeling the heat this morning after forgetting The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Get Money" lyrics during Lil Kim's medley performance, at VH1's 2016 Hip Hop Honors on Monday, July 11, at David Geffen Hall in New York City.
Producer Statik Selektah took to his Twitter account Tuesday to rip the rapper, VH1 and warned DJ's not to play Rich's music in New York City.
"Ok enough enough with these new guys… Rich homie Quan should be working at Burger King not doing Biggie tributes… FUckouttahere," Statik wrote. "Then again whoever at VH1 decided that was a good idea needs to be in the mail room for the rest of their life… MCs should do MC shit. New rule… you play a Rich Homie Quan record in NYC, you’re Serato gets taken away. Try me on that."
Power 105.1 radio personality Charlamagne Tha God and Hot 97's Ebro Darden also had harsh words for the "Flex" hit maker on Twitter
"Rich Homie Quan leave the city yet?" "Darden quipped "Bruh you had the Coogi sweater.... But not the lyrics!??!? #YouHadOneJob."

"Teyana Taylor, Kiki Palmer, Dej Loaf they all young and knew the lyrics to the records they performed. Yeah Quan gotta take this L," Charlamagne wrote.
