Report: Gucci Mane Checks Into Rehab To Avoid Possibly Going Back To Jail

Gucci Mane has checked himself into a rehab facility according to a report by Ozone. The Atlanta rapper, who was released from prison in May for violating the terms of his probation, was urged to enter rehab by his manager and lawyer to avoid going back to jail, after relapsing according to the report. The substance Gucci was allegedly abusing is unknown at this time, but he entered rehab on October 14, for a 28-day stay. Upon his release from prison in May, Gucci, born Radric Davis read a prepared statement that said in part. "I have made some mistakes in my life that have hurt a lot of people who care about me. I have worked very hard to get past them, but those mistakes have brought me to where I am today, and they will not be repeated." As we have seen with so many celebrities, substance abuse is a tough battle to overcome. Gucci's latest album 'The Appeal' was released last month.
