A psycho psychologist from Mexico City murdered her husband in the most gruesome way possible then sloppily attempted to cover her tracks.
According to the New York Daily News, 40-year old Maria Alejandra Lafuente Caso drugged her husband, Allan Carrera Cuellar, 41, then dismembered his body with a chainsaw. Maria then dumped her husband's body parts in different part of the city.
Maria kept Allan's family fooled by texting them from his phone so they would think he was still alive. Her plan began to unravel when kids stumbled across Allan's head at a local park.
During the police investigation they found Allan's hands and feet in another part of the city.
"Before the body parts were found she convinced everyone that he was alive and well by sending text messages," a police spokesman said. "After we found the remains and managed to identify him from DNA, she pretended to be a grieving widow. But a forensic examination of her home found traces of his blood and bone gristle in the carpets and bits of flesh in the bathroom. She then tried to have herself sectioned using her knowledge of mental illness as a psychologist so she wouldn't have to stand trial for his murder. But we had a doctor carry out tests and she is of perfectly sane mind."
Maria alleges her husband physically abused her for years. She is now facing life in prison.
