Diddy took in his son Justin Comb's game Saturday when UCLA played Nebraska, and like any proud parent he couldn't help but be ecstatic about his son's achievement's.

By Diddy's side was Justin's mom, designer Misa-Hylton Brim.

"It's so crazy to see him actually down there," Diddy said. "This is what he worked hard for. I didn't even know that he was doing it. I didn't know what was going on until I started seeing letters [from colleges]. He did it on his own. I didn't make one call for my son"

Justin got a full athletic scholarship to play for the Bruins, which is worth $54,000. Some people weren't pleased the son of a rich hip hop mogul got a free ride to play football at the school, but he earned it on the field at New York's New Rochelle Iona Prep where he starred as a cornerback

"If his athletic abilities deserve it, then more power to him," Emily Resnick, the outgoing president of UCLA's Undergraduate Students Assn, told the L.A. Times back in June.

Justin won't play this year while he gets stronger physically and learns the playbook.

He’s learning the system, but he gets to put on his uniform in case of an emergency,” Diddy said.

UCLA beat Nebraska in the game on Saturday and are now ranked 23rd in the coaches poll.
