HipHollywood recently caught up with "Power" actress Naturi Naughton to talk about what fans of the series can expect from her character, Tasha, this season.
"I feel like this year she's really becoming her own person, without Ghost," Naughton said. "So, where you see how she leaves off in season three ... she's scared, she's unsure. She's been trying to figure out does she still love Ghost? Is this gonna work, this marriage? I think it's been a hard couple of years for her. She's been ride or die, but at the same time, it's like, 'Is somebody gonna be ride or die for me? Is somebody gonna have my back?'
"So, I think this is the year where she demands a certain level of respect. Season four she definitely has some tough decisions to make. But there's also some joy. Tasha has a love interest this season. I'm excited for people to see, 'cause Ghost has been been doing him. Tasha needs love too. She finds some joy. I think she struggles with figuring out how to rearrange her life now that Ghost is not there. Ghost is in jail. She's also dealing with Angela, and a lot of her nonsense. Angela's trying to take our family out. She's a federal agent. She's investigating Ghost. I'm afraid. What if she brings us both down? Then what happens to the family?"
