In the latest clip, Papoose talked about waiting six years to release his first single after appearing on Kool G Rap's album in 1998. While "Alphabetical Slaughter" and "Thug Connection" shortly after the Kool G Rap collaboration, he gave "Alphabetical Slaughter" an official re-release in 2004. Papoose recalled hearing DJ Kay Slay feature new artists on the radio during a two-week bid at Rikers Island and decided to take rap seriously and meet the legendary DJ.
