The reporter at the center of a firestorm surrounding Charles Barkley may now find herself in hot water.
Alexi McCammond accused Charles Barkley of threatening her with violence when he reportedly told her, “I don’t hit women but if I did I would hit you.”
The two were in the middle of a discussion Tuesday about the 2020 presidential election when the comments were made.
Barkley has since issued a public apology to the Axios reporter.
Since then, someone has dug up old tweets from McCammond in which she disparages Asians.
On September 3, 2011 she tweeted, "now googling how to not wake up with swollen, asian eyes..."
That was followed up on October 15, 2011 when McCammond wrote, "give me a 2/10 on my chem problem, cross out all of my work and don't explain what I did wrong..thanks a lot stupid asian T.A. you're great."
There's been no response from McCammond or Axios since the tweets were uncovered.
