Despite the fact that T.I. was not involved in the unfortunate shooting that occurred during his concert at Irving Plaza in New York City on Wednesday, May 25, promoters have pulled the plug on one of his scheduled appearances.
The Atlanta rapper was going to perform for graduating high school students in South Florida on June 11, but after news of the shooting broke the promoter fired off a letter letting him know he was no longer wanted, according to TMZ.
"The quality of the Talents services is not satisfactory to our Client." The letter read, in addition to "The event was marketed 'as a safe environment for the students.'"
Tip will have to return the $55,000 advance he was paid.
