An overnight shooting at a South Beach nightclub killed one man and hospitalized two women, Miami Beach police said Sunday morning.
By Sunday evening, the person killed was identified as Pasadena, California’s Lowell Grissom Jr., a father of one and rapper known as Young Lo and Everybody Knows Lo. In addition to doing his own music and being a talent scout for Makasound Records, Grissom worked with other artists, such as Chris Brown.
The three people were hit just before 4 a.m. Sunday inside 235 23rd Street, the address for Gala Miami. All three people were taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the man died.
