Migos have reason to celebrate after signing with Motown Records and Capitol Records. The deal is an extension of the group's original recording home, Quality Control Music's, joint venture with Capitol Music Group.
Future music from Migos will be released through Quality Control and Motown/Capitol Records.

“We are beyond proud and excited to strengthen our relationship with Coach K and Pierre as they bring their franchise players, Migos, under the umbrella of the Quality Control partnership with Motown/Capitol," said Motown Records President, Ethiopia Habtemariam, in a press release. "The members of Migos are true artists who are representing and driving youth culture as they break boundaries with their music. Less than two years ago, we began our relationship with QC because we believed in them and were aligned in a mission and purpose to propel our culture to a global market – and we are doing just that.”
Quality Control Music's CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas added: “This is a very exciting time for QC and Migos. We have been independently building our brand, and though our partnership with Motown/Capitol they have shown us that this is the right home to take our business to a global platform.”
Takeoff, Offset and Quavo are currently riding a wave of success. Their single "Bad and Boujee" is sitting at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Their latest album titled "Culture," which was released on January 27, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart with 131,000 album-equivalent units sold.
