Michael Corleone Blanco, son of the notorious Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, commented on the circumstances in which Griselda's once-trusted hitman, Rivi, turned informant. Rivi, allegedly responsible for 40 murders, snitched on Griselda for seven murders, which led to new charges imposed against her, including the possibility of the death penalty. Michael Corleone stated that when he heard the news, he was in disbelief, considering Rivi's close association with his family. He further expressed his doubts about Rivi's role in his mother's sentencing, speculating that it was part of a broader scheme against her. Blanco revealed that despite those events, they don't completely despise Rivi. He showed appreciation that even though his mother met a violent end, it was not in the electric chair, as could have been the case following Rivi's revealing testimony.
