Meek Mill sits down with The Warner Sound's Shaheem Reid to decode track No. 2 "In God We Trust" off of his upcoming Dreams and Nightmares album.
"It's just about surviving in the streets - in God we trust for the love of the money," Meek says. "I seen a lot of young guys go to war. It was even times we was in positions where it was at war with the guys because they wanted to do something to us. If anybody wanted to do something to us we wanted to do something to them. And it might have been over one of the smallest money transactions that had nothing do with me, probably one of my friends. You gotta survive and participate in it. I just wanted to give them that one street joint nobody really giving out no more."
Dreams and Nightmares drops October 30th.
