Before Whitney Houston's untimely death the singer was making plans to turn her life story into a movie. Actress Meagan Good told E! Online recently that she was in line for the lead role in the film.
"We were fairly in the beginning stages," Good told Marc Malkin of E! Online on Monday February 20th at Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture's Vanities party at Siren Studios in Hollywood. "We were supposed to meet today actually."
Good added that the ending of the movie was going to play a major role in the development of the project..
"My feeling is because she has the film Sparkle coming out and she's brilliant in it and she looks beautiful and healthy," Good said. "My feeling was that's how we should end the movie...as a new beginning for her."
While it may be too soon to think about still making the movie at this point Good said Houston will be remembered as maybe the best ever.
"I don't think we've ever had a singer in history that I remember that could sing like her," said Good.
Good also said that if she were to ever play the part she wouldn't attempt to use her own singing voice.
"When people see someone's life story they want to hear that person's voice because they connect with it, in their spirit and their soul. So you would have to use her voice."
