"Yes we are pregnant, this is true."Mariah Carey finally ended speculation that has gone on for months. By confirming that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a baby
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 41 year old superstar said it's been hard keeping this secret from the world.
"It's been a long journey. It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy." she said.
Carey also revealed that two years ago she suffered a miscarriage.
Cannon talked about how hard it was for Mariah to deal with that loss.
"Her strength during the day to be so festive, smiling for cameras, spending time with everyone. Then later that night crying herself to sleep." Cannon said.
This will be the first child for both Carey and 30-year old entertainer, Cannon. The baby is due next spring.
