The mother of FBG Duck—Lasheena Weekly revealed to VladTV that she feels her son’s murder was pre-meditated. Along with that, Weekly said that Sony shelved FBG Duck but decided to release his music after he passed, which she says her family has not seen any payment for. Lasheena Weekly gave a touching recollection of her son, saying he had major love for Chicago, and that him and her family had plans on leaving Chicago so that he could pursue a deal with Rap-A-Lot Records.
