**UPDATE** May 7th

The feud between Kobe Bryant and his mother has taken another ugly turn. The basketball star has filed a countersuit against Goldin Auctions.

Bryant claimsin the suit that Pamela Bryant stole some of the memorabilia she plans on selling from his home and refuses to return the rest that he left at her home when he moved out according to TMZ

At the center of the battle is money. Kobe feels like he's been more than generous to his parents over the years. He offered to buy his parents a nice home in Las Vegas recently for considerably less than a million dollars. They turned down the offer because they wanted a bigger crib.

Pam is angry because her son bought his wife's mother a $3.2 million dollar pad in Newport Beach, California. After that house sold, he bought her another multi-million dollar crib. Pam feels like Kobe tried to shortchange his own flesh and blood, according to TMZ.
Kobe drew a line in the sand and said enough is enough.

It's pretty sad to see this situation play out in front of the media.
