Kim Kardashian was the victim of a robbery in her Paris hotel room Sunday, October 2.
As many as five people were involved in the theft, but only two armed men dressed as police made their way inside.
The thieves took jewelry and other valuables worth millions of dollars. The total amount is still being determined, but the BBC reports that a box containing up to $6.7 million in jewels was taken as well as a $4.5 million ring.
"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," her spokesperson Ina Treciokas told Billboard.
According to the Associated Press, the gunmen forced the hotel concierge to give them access to Kardashian's room at gunpoint.
Once inside, they tied the mother of two up and locked her in a bathroom. It's not clear if her children were with her at the time.
Kardashian was not hurt physically, however she is said to be badly shaken emotionally.
She was in the city for Paris Fashion Week.
The 35-year old reality television star's husband, Kanye West, abruptly ended his concert at the Meadows Festival in Queens, New York Sunday, telling the audience, "I'm sorry there's a family emergency. I have to stop the show."
Promoters of the festival, Founders Entertainment, released a statement:
"Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set. We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close out the inaugural Meadows Festival. Our thoughts are with West and his family."
Kardashian left Paris on Monday. Police are searching for the suspects.
